Italian producer Violet Poison, or Francesco Baudazzi, has been around for as long as I’ve been into electro – appearing on the first ever white label 12” from Mechatronica. But already then he had been making music for years on labels like Opal Tapes and Hospital Productions. Death of a Man Machine is his first album for a few years, having worked more under his italo alias Diana Berti recently. It came out on the Slovenian label KRI in December, with 6 original tracks and 2 new remixes from the amazing Karolina BNV and DJ Nephil. There’s also a 12” lathe featuring some of the tracks, but it’s sold out now of course.
