One of my favourite artists on Dutch label Knekelhuis remain Eye. The solo project of Laurène Exposito from France, she now teamed up with another French musician by the name of Théo Delaunay. He has released a bunch of great music as Panoptique. Together they’ve taken the name Diagonale des Yeux and will be releasing their first album on Knekelhuis in February. Madeleine is a 12-track LP that reminds me of Fiesta en el Vacío and Helen Island, in its patchwork production style that blends live instrumentation with drum machines and synthesisers.
