Astrid Gnosis is a Spanish-Colombian artist who has been based in London for many years. I’m not quite sure how I came across her music, but she’s been active for almost 10 years. She was interviewed in Kaltblut already 7 years ago. Her music is an amalgamation of different types of underground electronics from hardcore to hyperpop and trance. Last year she finally put out her first longplayer, called Programmed Obsolescence. I realise it’s a while ago but I was struck by the uniqueness of these 7 tracks, released through her own Heady Records. It reminds me of everything from Nine Inch Nails to Arca.
