Aisha from Tunis has returned with a new record as Deköm, and this time it’s not just any release – it’s an EP cut as a limited lathe, which you can order from Post Hoc. The Berlin label hosted her last summer, when she performed at their event at Bar Neun (check out part of the set in the video below). The new record is called Libido Runs On Voltages, and is a bit different from previous releases as Deköm, in that it goes for trap-inspired beats and vocal samples to a further extent. Still overlaid with noise and industrial textures of course, but if you listen to the last track “Envism (club version)” you can hear how perfectly it overlaps with the past. Especially the mastering is completely different on this record.
