Scottish producer and DJ Kavari has received a lot of attention for her unique world-building and productions – so much so that London label XL signed her (you might know them for big names like The Prodigy and White Stripes). In February her first 12” for them, called Plague Music is coming out. It includes 4 tracks and you can hear one of them below. It remains to be seen if this record might catapult her beyond underground recognition to the legend that she already is, in my opinion.
In a couple of weeks Kavari is performing at the CTM Festival in Berlin and later this year she’s also set to appear at Rewire in The Hague.
