I only heard of Shadow Wizard Money Gang thanks to Metaphys1ca, so hats off. The Montreal collective was started by the producer Louka Tessier who also goes by the name Skinwalker. Along with the associated moniker Shadow Rich Gang and friend DJ Smokey they’ve created a world that reminds me of classic games like Diablo. They’ve released a bunch of music (1o albums listed on streaming platforms so far) together with different collaborators. Maximum Sonistic Assault came out at the end of December and features legends like Kavari and Cynthoni. The 16 tracks mix hardcore and breakcore with underground hiphop.
