The UK underground r’n’b collective Sault just returned with a new record. Since their naming structure has problems of the Samsung phone magnitude, it’s no surprise that they’ve just called it Chapter 1. The 10-track LP came out via their own Forever Living Originals on January 9 and it’s their first record since 10 came out almost a year ago. Still, it’s one of their best albums to date, with a strong focus on the songs the vocals. While they’re maybe not as secretive as they used to be, this is an uplifting record for dark times.
