Malcriada is a duo from CDMX presenting something as unusual as a darkwave and hyperpop hybrid. It makes sense when you hear them. They started releasing music themselves two year ago and their first album came out in September (still catching up on 2025 it seems). Está bien llorar </3, with its Sergeant Pepper inspired cover, includes 14 tracks of punk-fuelled fun – check out the video for ”A A A A” below. Like many others right now, they’re inspired by Crystal Castles, but also local legend Prayers.
They put out a new selfreleased EP called #dreamcore in November.
