Detached Sky is the musical project of Boston-based Alyza Aikins. She released two albums last year and the first was in a different style, based more on a singer-songwriter idiom. The latest one however, Parasocial from August, saw her take production in an electronic direction. It still features her distinct guitar style on a few tracks and lands somewhere between Dean Blunt-inspired pop and underground digicore stuff. It’s a great album actually, so I hope she keeps developing her sound and release more tracks this year.
