Plastic Act is a project from Montreal that used to be a one-man-band featuring Josh Herlihey. But on their EP from the beginning of the year (sorry, catching up on 2025 releases) he’s got some help from friends in bands like Private Lives and Priors. Now feels equally inspired by The Jam and 00s bands like caUSE Co-Motion and Real Numbers. It’s available as a 45 with three tracks from Bachelor Records (remember those guys?). Their first single from 2023 is sold out, but you can stream it so go ahead.
