Isla Den is a duo from Montreal consisting of Ellie Manning and Mira Reale. They just appeared on the Zorza compilation we wrote about, and have also appeared on Charmlink and Hyperlink this year. Their music blends hyperpop and trance, as you can hear on their new EP called Emotional Dance Music. They’ve actually made music for many years, beginning as a bedroom pop project. The new record is available as a cd with 8 tracks, and came out November 21 on local label Collection Disques Durs, who have also worked with TDJ.
