Yu-Ching Huang of the stellar Taiwanese duo Aemong released an album on Night School last year. But there was also a 7” on the Taiwanese label Planetes – something I had missed until recently. So although this release is from last year, I’d still like to mention it. Both because it is incredibly good, but also since Night School seems to have copies still in stock. These two songs were recorded before she moved back to Taiwan from Berlin, and there’s something decidedly bittersweet over them.
