Sarla is the musical project of Tunis-based Sarra Zouari. She is a resident of Xpam and has appeared on compilations from Black Holes and Xpam (of course). She’s been producing for a couple of years and this year she put out two self-released EPs. My Tears Gone Cold came out early 2025 and was more ambient, and on Echoes / على سعدي from August she continues to explore experimental electronic sounds and voice. It’s an idiom far from the dancefloor, but is perfect to listen to in your bedroom on a freezing winter day.
