Los Angeles label Pure Violence has a new various artist compilation out, called Butterfly Effect. It’s packed with underground electronic sounds from the city, overlapping a bit with what L.A.U.R.A. does (Prosperity, who’s pictured above, crops up here too) but also adding a layer of new producers. For example M3mory, Acruelawakening and San Diego peeps DJ Murder and Egress. For international flavour, you’ll get tracks from Berlin-based Midnight Climax, Reinhaudt, 0111001101110100 and a collab between Gutkein and Cha1n. Not to mention Def Qlub and DJ Warzone.
The 22-track digital release came out November 4.
