Yorck Street is a Berlin duo group that seems to also have played in London a bit. Consisting of Gustav Kemps and Valeria Litvakov, the latter whom also appeared on Oli XL’s release on Warp earlier this year. As Yorck Street they put out their first EP last year and in September it was followed by My Small Piano. It’s a big but unassuming 4-track self-release that also featured an homage to Dido. Definitely in the same ball court as The Furniture Group from NYC or Who Cares? from Melbourne. If you need a more universal reference point, maybe Kelora.
