I was listening back to some old radio shows and realised I’d completely lost touch with New York-based artist Macy Rodman, despite her second album being a firm favourite. Now she’s up to her fourth full-length, called Scald. It came out on vinyl in early October via her own label Sea Bream Records and is a wild mix of electronic, punk and ballads with her mesmerising vocals. Brought together in 11 tracks, that also feature guest appearances from people like Liam Benzvi, it shows why Rodman is a hero of the queer community and deserves much wider recognition.
