While I do miss Iridium as a label, I think Spectre Noir is living up to its predecessor in a major way. Ultra is a new compilation from them and the first one in a year already littered with immaculate releases. The originators make up the backbone of the tracklist, with pretty much all of their aliases and collaborations present: Dogsattack, Iren, Ezra, Ayline, Ayra and of course Silent Spectre. The international contributors weigh just as heavy, with Emma Dowdy (pictured), Isotryk, Def Club, Skoutchi99, Huffy Fibryyx, Gutkein, Anysrektym and Niki Istrefi among the 17 tracks. Out since October 21.
