Joe Ziffer is a musician from Tarntanya (Adelaide) who debuted a couple of years ago on Tenth Court. Following that album he has recorded a follow-up with the help of some friends on drums, piano and pedal steel. The results – Soap Scum – is a pastoral affair full of jangly guitar and psychedelic melodies across 9 ambling tracks. In fact, one of them is called ”Ambling”. It’s a beautiful record, released by Differ himself via bandcamp. Probably one of those you wouldn’t come across unless recommended by someone.
