Girl Pusher is a Los Angeles duo consisting of producer Resign and vocalist Gabby. They’ve basically been gone for seven years but resurfaced at the start of 2025 with their first album. With no releases since before the pandemic, I think few people counted on their return. But Gatekeep Gaslight Girlpusher finds them as visceral as ever, still playing dark electronic music infused with punk – similar to Deligirls or Black Dresses. The album was reportedly recorded in three days and marks their 10th year as a band. Read the interview that Alternative Press did with them, it’s great.
