Yana Etc. appears on her own label Enochian, which she started earlier this year after becoming less active in Sunthoid. Arcane Threshold is a 4-track EP, which is so far only up on soundcloud and free for the first week. Since this is the first solo release from any artist on the label it’s important for setting the tone for what’s to come. Yana delivers her usual uncompromising sound here, stretching hard industrial techno into new, weird and dark forms. The arcane is actually a great reference, as it means something unknown, obscured or even occult. The last track is a collaboration with Pängløss.
