People who read Record Turnover about ten years ago or so might be familiar with Dutch artist Jacco Gardner and later readers with his duo Bruxas. Now he has a new project together with María Pandiello and it’s called Overmacht (force majeur in Dutch). Their first album Magonia just came out on Spanish label Abstrakce and it’s a collection of 9 tracks full of minimal electronics and tasteful synthesisers. There is definitely an influence from Chris & Cosey here and other early experimental electronic projects.
