The Vatican Necropolis is a new ambient project from Gothenburg, connected to Discreet. American artist Aziza who plays in the group actually supported Troth at their Gothenburg show – under the name Raven Burial. Together with Aotearoan musician Lee Noyes, she released a demo as Vatican Necropolis earlier this year on Förfall (the cdr label distributed by Discreet) which also included other musicians like Sewer Election. Their new release Gravedigger came out earlier in September and is a 6-track mini-album of dark ambient music.
