In 2022, Amniote Editions put out a compilation called Refraction of Light. Now, along with the announcement of the new Hasvat Informant record, comes the news of the second volume of the compilation. This 21-track digital release gathers producers from Australia that reach from ambient and IDM to experimental techno and trance. The label compares it to light ”refracting on the horizon of a long drive, it bends shifting sounds and perspectives into a shared vision shaped by distance, connection, and the landscapes in between”.
Among the contribution artists are Hasvat Informant, Autogenesis, Jörmungandr (Eastern Distributor), Zara, DJ Ali, Landfill, Liliaceae (Disgrays) and SuZhen Bai (Cloudy Ku, pictured above). Out October 31.
