Leroy Se Meurt is a French duo originally from Lyon and Marseilles and in October their second album is coming out – once again on Berlin label Mannequin Records. Their name is derived from a play called Le roi se meurt by Eugène Ionesco from 1962. But their music is heavily influenced by another decade, which is of course the 80s. Hier Pour Toujours is a 9-track LP that mixes synths, post-punk and EBM. You’ve heard it before, but maybe not quite like this.
