The Swiss-British duo Lebanon Hanover needs no introduction to fans of post-punk – for more than decade they were one of most popular groups internationally. Their last album came out in 2020 via Greek label Fabrika. Since them I’ve seen them play Grauzone in 2023, when they also released a new 12” which featured one of their most inspired tracks ”Kiyv”. Back in July they released a new album, still on their old label, called Asylum Lullabies. I usually can’t stand Wiliam’s theatrics, but some of these 8 new ones are great, including my favourite ”Waiting List”.
