A Portal to Jump Through is the experimental side project of Kidä, who released a beautiful EP last year. The New York-based artist is now following up the Portal Vol. I record with an ambient album recorded mostly with harp. The 21-track, digital release came out September 5 and there was an in-person listening party hosted by Kidä. A completely different experience than the first volume, this one was created while Kidä was working on her first full-length record. The approach here feels almost classical, with titles that evoke a gothic atmosphere.
