The Cords from Glasgow is the sister duo of Eva and Grace Tedeschi. Not unlike Strawberry Switchblade from the same city, they have gathered an underground following thanks to a strong sonic identity. One that they cement with their first longplayer, coming out on Slumberland and Skep Wax on September 26. The latter is run by Rob and Amelia from Heavenly and Talulah Gosh and that is definitely a piece of music history that is central for The Cord’s own world. The selftitled album consists of 13 songs and three singles have appeared so far.
