Misere is a relatively new post-punk band from Berlin. I actually saw them live a couple of years ago, when they supported the equally goth-leaning Body Maintenance from Naarm. In August they finally released their first mini-LP thanks to Static Age. The self-titled 12” includes 7 tracks that sound like a darker version of Kleenex. There aren’t many other groups around at the moment who do this stuff and who do it well, so this record lands just at the right moment. They are playing Neue Zukunft tomorrow together with Sexverbot and Rehash.
