Several years ago, we wrote about Canadian artist Sally Dige who is now based in Berlin. The single we featured then has finally been included on an album, and Holding the Sun came out in July on her own label Dige Records. The LP consists of 8 tracks, most of them previously released a singles between 2020 and 2025. Having said that, they still sound surprisingly coherent as the record unfolds. The production is beautifully multilayered as well.
