As much as I’ve listened to Australian music over the years it took a German release to finally make me pay attention to Military Position. The noise and power electronics project of Harriet Morgan from Naarm, it’s been at the periphery of my world for years, with releases on Trapdoor Tapes and in 2019 this one on No Rent. Then in 2023 aufnahme+wiedergabe put out Nothing Lasts Forever. At first a 6-track digital EP, it was then reissued on tape in US and now finally on vinyl.
