Starfish Pool is the longtime project of Belgian producer Koen Lybaert, who started making electronic music based on simple loops in the 90s. Last month, the Polish label Brutaż put out what they call a Sampler EP of his music. The label is run by Rrrkrta and we just saw them play in Berlin recently, playing a lot of this kind of dubby techno. The four tracks on this 12” are picked from Koen’s discography and it’s an excellent selection.
