Another record that is coming soon from AD 93 is this collaborative album by Valentina Magaletti and YPY. YPY is Koshiro Hino of Japanese band Goat and together they’ve recorded the 8 tracks that make up Kansai Bruises. Out at the end of August, this record promises to be a wild ride through multilayered percussion DIY electronics. In fact, it’s almost sold out already. I had the pleasure of seeing Magaletti live this summer, together with Nídia (whose recent mutual album just came out remixed), and it’s always among the crowning experiences of any festival.
