It’s been three years already since Los Angeles-based Syko Friend released her last album. Once again working with Post Present Medium, she recently announced that Dizzy Magic is coming out in September. It’s the fourth album from Sophie Weil’s persona, and this time some of the songs are filled out with by a full band. But the opening track and title-track is a simple guitar drone that is quite hypnotic. I can’t wait to hear the rest.
