I just saw this record in OYE and was reminded to write about it. Bloody Mary’s label Dame-Music is 15 years old this year, crazy but true. They’re celebrating that with a series of various artist 12”s, the first of which came out in March. Three sets are planned and 15 Years of Dame-Music Vol. 2 followed in June. While the first featured e.g. E-Bony and Bloody Mary herself, this one’s got another 4 tracks by folks like Ben Sims & Ritzi Lee, Deas and personal fave Viikatory (pictured above). Look out for the final instalment after the summer.
