This new album by Drumloop/Theia is a collaboration between Daffy Scanlan and Samantha Hernandez, who are both based in New York and have performed live together in the past. One of those sets “under the tracks of the J train” became the basis of Nothing In the World Is Ours, which was released by No Rent in May as a 4-track cd. Apart from making music as Theia, Hernandez also has a noise project called Parasite Nurse. The most recent Parasite Nurse album came out earlier this year on LA label Oxen. She also just started her own label Unchill Electronics.
