Molly Nilsson has a new single out, one she wrote and recorded last year in San Giorgio del Sannio, Benevento, while doing a residency. As you can no doubt tell, that’s the view from her window on the cover. “Un Po’ Più Vicino al Cielo” is sung in Italian but the b-side isn’t, either way this is Nilsson on her best italo disco mood. As with her previous singles, it’s perhaps less weighed down by the serious subject matter brought up on her albums. And as usual is a joint venture between Night School and her label Dark Skies Associations.
