I don’t know a lot of bands from Finland, but I was keen to hear Plasma from Helsinki after I heard about their debut coming out on US label Sorry State. Mua Et Voi Omistaa is 10-track LP that’s been out since April and in Europe you can get it from TLJH Records and Nunchaku Punks. It follows on from their demo of two years, which was in itself an inspired punk record. All five tracks are included in new, razorsharp versions. Vocalist Maija does a great job throughout, and if you’re lucky enough to attend K-Town (I’ll be there) you can catch them live this summer and they’re even playing in Malmö later in July.
