Let’s start off 2025 with writing about a release that we’re criminally late on. I blame myself for not keeping up with the Hozac newsletter, or I would have known about the amazing debut album from Italy’s Gentilesky. Ways of Seeing was released in December 2023, as a matter of fact, and appeared on the band’s own profile in 2024. The 10-track LP is a near-perfect postpunk album and we’re grateful to HoZac Records for bringing the Sardinia/Istanbul group to our attention.
