Valencia label Flexidiscos gave us this excellent postpunk 7” in November and we’ve already included it our end-of-year longlist playlist. (This time it ended up at 400 tracks – sorry about that!) But this EP from E.V.A. with 4 tracks is indeed a beauty. The four-piece consists of members from Granada and Bristol and formed in 2019, releasing an EP in 2020. II took four years to arrive, but listening to a track like ”El oro”, I’m inclined to think it was worth the wait.
