The Submissives is the musical vehicle of Montreal’s Deb Edison, but live the project expands into a full band including trumpet, flute and violin. She started releasing a lot of DIY records 2015-2016 and after a bit of break returned with Wanna Be Your Thing in 2022. But in October the first fruit of full band recordings came out on Celluloid Lunch. Live At Value Sound Studios is a 13-track LP that captures a unique group of musicians for the first time.
