Montreal group Laughing might be the closest thing I’ve heard to Teenage Fanclub in years. They even look a bit like the Scottish group in their grunge era. Laughing’s debut LP, called Because It’s True, came out in June on Meritorio Records in Europe and Celluloid Lunch in the US.
