What a treat this is, a reissue of Graven Image’s entire recorded output. Graven Image formed in Richmond, Virginia and quickly made USHC history with their self-released 1983 EP Your Skull Is My Bowl!, which was a split with their buddies Honor Role. Studio Sessions: 82-83 collects all their released output and adds unreleased material from the same sessions. The vision of their idiosyncratic frontperson Dwayne Curd is apparent throughout, making this a unique document of their style.
