It’s the final month of 2022 and we’ll try so squeeze in as many releases as we can manage before it’s time to sum up the year. Here’s one from back in August and San Fran project Healing Potpourri. Paradise came out on Run For Cover Record as a follow-up to the 2020 album that Simi Sohota recorded with a cast of seven. This time however, Sohota has mainly collaborated with Jason Kick (Mild High Club) as well as Sean O’Hagan (High Llamas). O’Hagan co-wrote a couple of the songs and did the string and horn arrangements and it is indeed a lush affair.
