If you mix dreampop, coldwave and shoegaze you’d probably get something like Gothenburg trio Kemi (chemistry in Swedish). They released their debut album last month – the self-titled LP on new label Inåt Bakåt. The band members have previously appeared in other local groups like Skiftande Enheter and Makthaverskan. Might be one of the best Swedish releases of the year, along with the new Katzengold LP and other releases from the small Gothenburg scene.
