The Human Expression’s legendary 60s singles have been compiled many times, but it wasn’t until 2013 that the Los Angeles psychedelic group got a proper retrospective on vinyl (thanks to Mississippi Records and Moi j’connais). That’s been sold out forever but thankfully Bongo Joe (which grew out of Moi j’connais) has just given Love At Psychedelic Velocity a new pressing. 14 tracks from acetates and demos that were never released during the group’s 1966-68 existence. “Optical Sound” is still one of the best songs ever written.
