Sometimes bands get clever with their bandcamp urls. A duo from Detroit made up of Kyle and Shelby e.g. have nabbed thekinks.bandcamp.com which is pretty funny considering their anonymous real name 208. They don’t sound much like said group either – this is extremely noisy guitar and drums lo-fi similar to perhaps The Hussy. Back in November they released a 45 on local label Remove Records, called “Red Cat”. A few weeks ago that was follow-up with a full-length album that also includes both sides of the single. The 15-track cassette is out on Painters Tapes.
