Lacquer is the project of Raquel Torre from London and Berlin, who now also plays in Glaas. Last year her first album came out on FlexiDiscos and Discodrome, with a sound that reminds me a lot of Riki. In October her new EP Elusive Realities came out as a digital self-release and sounds equally great. Check out the video for “What’s With You”.
