While we’re waiting for the next Reptaliens LP, the duo of Bambi and Cole have been exploring different projects. These have resulted in a couple of covers released on bandcamp, as well as a set of songs created around a borrowed synthesizer. The Wrestling EP is inspired by minimal synth and was released by Captured Tracks almost as an afterthought. The five tracks do work very nicely together, especially “Just a Creature” sounds great in its similarity to celebrated artists like Cute Heels. The digital-only EP came out a few days ago.
