One of our favourite labels, Chicago Research, have finally returned on the scene with a slew of new releases. One of these is a compilation showcasing some of the artists that have helped make them a notable name in experimental, industrial and ambient sounds. Joyous Sounds! is probably the most ironic name I can think of for a compilation full of harsh and non-accessible music. It includes fantastic contributions from Club Music, Rottweiler and L.T.F., as well as one of the best Breastmilk tunes. There are also some new names like Musgo, that I look forward to hearing more from. Grab this quick, it’s one of their first vinyl releases in a good while.
