Agar Agar

French duo Agar Agar are back with their first new music since their well-received debut LP The Dog and the Future. Still working with Paris label Cracki, Clara Cappagli and Armand Bultheel have put out a new single called “Nap”. Its stark cover with a minimalist drawing suggests something completely different from the over-saturation of their previous work. But “Nap” turns out to be a very enjoyable electronic disco tune, reminiscent of that first Ladytron album. Clara’s easily identifiable vocals lifts it from enjoyable to loveable and also saves the b-side from being an instrumental filler.
